Lexington, Kentucky

If you joined us for our 2004 or 2005 conference, you already know something about Lexington. We're offering a whole new view of our hometown for 2007, however. This year we're having the conference at the Marriott Griffin Gate Resort, a ideal location that's both beautiful AND accessible. Although the hotel is on the outskirts of the city in the heart of the rolling hills of the Bluegrass, it's a mere minute or two from the junction of I-64 and I-75. That means that Hamburg Pavilion, a vast shopping complex, is less than 10 minutes away. Hamburg has a huge cineplex and a mind-boggling assortment of dining choices—both "fast" and "fine"! Also within a 10-minute drive is the Kentucky Horse Park, a 1,200 acre park that's a real working horse farm. (For more about the Horse Park, click on Old Kentucky Night.) The arts and crafts capital of Berea, Kentucky is 45 minutes away—and well worth the drive. Swimming and golfing, of course, are just outside your door. So, whatever your central Kentucky destination—shopping, dining, movie going, sightseeing—you can get there FAST.

Arrival and departure are easy, too. Lexington is within a day's drive of 75% of the country's population. If you prefer to fly, Lexington's Blue Grass Airport, with approximately 100 direct and non-stop flights, is only a 15-minute drive (and the Marriott provides a free shuttle). For even more flying options, consider the Cincinnati and Louisville airports, each just an hour and fifteen minutes away.
